Round Leaderboards

Round Leaderboards add an extra leaderboard to a round you're playing: the same round, scored in a different format, for the players you pick. Run a net competition inside a gross one, or a betterball within your fourball, without touching anyone's official result.

Watch the walkthrough

Kevin finished last on the gross board. He creates a net leaderboard, adds everyone in the round, and the new tab ranks the same round with handicaps applied: second, on the same 100 strokes.

How to create one

Step 1Open a round's leaderboard and tap + Create

On the round's Leaderboard screen, tap + Create. Without Premium, it offers you the subscription instead.

Step 2Choose a scoring format

Filter by Individual, Team or Alliance, and pick a format. Switch on Matchplay to play it head-to-head, hole by hole. Then tap Create.

Step 3Select your players

You land on Manage leaderboard. Tap + Add Player, then pick players from Your Fourball, or anyone in the round under All Players.

Step 4Review and manage your leaderboard

Manage leaderboard lists everyone on it. Come back whenever you like to add or remove players, or delete the leaderboard with the bin icon.

Step 5View the results alongside the official board

Your leaderboard gets its own tab next to the official one, named after you, and updates as everyone scores. Its Manage button is only shown to you.

Team formats

Build teams instead of a player list

For a team format such as betterball, Manage leaderboard shows teams. Your first team is set up for you: add its players, then tap + Add Team for the next one. A team matchplay leaderboard starts with its two teams.

Things to know

  • You can create up to 3 of these leaderboards per round.
  • You can't create one in a format you're already part of. The matchplay version of a format counts as a different one.
  • Matchplay is only offered for formats that support it.
  • One-score-per-team formats, such as foursomes, aren't available, since these teams have no shared handicap.
  • Only the person who created a leaderboard can change it.

Why we built this

Groups wanted a side competition next to the real one - bragging rights within a fourball, a different format for the back-nine crew - without it touching the official result. Round Leaderboards keeps that side game separate, live and quick to set up from the round itself.

Screenshots show example players, not real people.
